Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit place in your browser. They allow a site to recognise you again, remember your preferences or measure your visit.

Which cookies does this site use?

The Erzurum Aksu site uses no tracking cookies for advertising, marketing or analytics; it does not profile visitors and does not share your visit with third parties. The cookies and similar technologies in use are:

• NEXT_LOCALE (strictly necessary, session cookie): remembers the site language you chose (Turkish / English). It contains no personal data and is deleted when the browser is closed.

• Cookie notice preference (local storage): the fact that you dismissed the cookie notice is kept in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, and is not sent to the server.

• Management panel session cookies (authorised staff only): used to keep Municipality staff signed in to the site's content management panel. They are never set for visitors of the public pages.

Third-party content

The site does not load third-party content such as maps, videos or social media plug-ins on its own. The map on the contact page is loaded from OpenStreetMap only when you press the "Show map" button; in that case OpenStreetMap may set technical cookies subject to its own cookie policy. Videos are played from the site's own server.

How can you manage cookies?

You can view, delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you delete the language cookie, the site opens in Turkish by default and you can choose your language again from the top menu. Blocking the necessary cookie does not affect the other functions of the site.
